Reflections of Existence

What is love without someone to share?

What is love untouched, unaware?

What is family without their support, so dear?

What are friends if they can't wipe a tear?

What is peace if it can't be felt inside?

What are countries if unseen, they hide?

What are people without emotions wide?

What's food without hunger, by our side?

What are animals if their chase has no aim?

What is pain when empty, without a flame?

What is water if there's no thirst to claim?

What is a tree without birds, a silent frame?

What is a world without you, me, or them?

What is death when life still flows, a precious gem?

What is life without you, missing from its grand show?

How do we express when emotions overflow?

What is beauty if unseen, hidden away?

What is a child without a parent's loving sway?

What is a night without the day's guiding ray?

What about the homeless man, lost in dismay?

What about the angry woman, teaching with disdain?

Are we bound to share this world's pain?

I asked God, was it all part of a divine plan?

With a smile, He replied, it's up to you, my friend.
